NBLU 2010 Summer Reading Program

Sponsored by

The Reading Warehouse

The South Carolina Association of School Librarians

The purpose of No Book Left Unread is to encourage students to engage in self-selected reading to learn the fun, recreation, and pure enjoyment that reading gives. To that end, we do not have any required reading lists associated with our summer reading program. We do have suggested reading lists (see section below) for student and adult participants. Student participants may also be interested in reading the South Carolina Association of School Librarians Book Award Nominees for the Picture Book, Children's Book, Junior Book, and Young Adult Book Awards. These nominee lists are available online at http://www.scasl.net/bookawards./index.htm.

NOTE: This year we are coordinating NBLU with the summer reading programs offered by South Carolina public libraries. Participants this year will keep track of the number of minutes read. We hope that this change in NBLU will encourage students to participate in both NBLU and their public library summer reading program.
